In Mt. Pleasant (Central Michigan), our team has helped to cultivate relationships and develop opportunities for social connection.
Earlier this year, the Connected Community Catalyst team and the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College STEAM club held their inaugural Game Night! Local community members came together for friendly competition and a chance to connect.
One participant, Amy shared about her experience, “I love that our group of collaborators are working to decrease social isolation through games! The first event was hugely successful and I look forward to making additional connections. Jonna has been an absolute joy and delight, as she’s leading this collaboration.”
This Fall, Jonna will be featured on a panel at the Foundation for Social Connection’s Annual Conference to share about connecting community in Mt. Pleasant!
